- Q: What is AnimeSS?
A: AnimeSS Stands for Anime Softsubs, we are a Fansubbing group who focuses upon softsubs first. - Q: What is a Softsub?
A: A softsub is a small file that you download from us that plays in sync with the RAW episode. To get it to work properly you must name the softsub (which is an srt file) the exact same name as the RAW file and they both must be in the same folder. After you have finished that then simply open up the RAW file and enjoy watching the show. - Q: What is a RAW file?
A: A RAW file is a video file that is in it original language without tampering (ex: adding subs at the bottom of the page like a hardsub) they are normaly in the avi format but can be in others. - Q: If I have anymore questions where should I ask?
A: The Forums, that is where you can talk to any of the staff members about and problems or concerns you may have. There are many members there you can speak with and get to know, as well as just plain out have a great time. Plus the staff does like compliments =D
